The Star Trace Reciprocating Feeder is a robust and reliable feeding solution designed for uniform and controlled feeding of bulk materials. The feeder operates using a crank-driven mechanism that allows a reciprocating motion at a 5° inclined angle, ensuring even material discharge. It is ideal for handling coal, abrasive materials, granular particles, and other loose, powdery substances with low viscosity and minimal stickiness.

Working Principle:

The reciprocating feeder is driven by a motor through a flexible coupling and reducer, which powers a crank and connecting rod mechanism. This setup moves the inclined bottom plate (5°) back and forth in a straight, reciprocating motion over idlers. As a result, materials are fed uniformly and continuously onto conveying or screening equipment. The design is available with or without a hopper, depending on the application and customer requirements.
